“What if you could provide your client a vehicle by which he could (1) make a completed gift to an irrevocable trust, (2) under which he can retain a discretionary right to income and principal, (3) that is protected from the claims of your client’s creditors, (4) is not subject to the judgment of a Florida court against your client, (5) permits the trustee to revise the exercise of a discretionary power, (6) requires an unsuccessful challenger to the trust to pay your legal fees and (7) will not recognize a fee agreement that permits a challenger’s attorney to charge a fee contingent upon the amount he may collect?  This vehicle does not exist in Delaware, Nevada, Alaska, or any of the other 14 DAPT (Domestic Asset Protection Trust) states. But this vehicle is available for your client.”

The Wealth Way

An Evolving Trend in How our Clients Think About Their Assets and Legacy

It's a method to prepare clients for volatile time periods and to encourage advanced planning in estate, tax, insurance, and philanthropy. Wealth Way is defined in 3 key strategies; Liquidity, Longevity, and Legacy.  This philosophy requires coordination amongst the legal, accounting and insurance professionals, providing the client with a clear and distinct investment and legacy plan.”
